National Service Scheme Cautions Ghanaians Over Facebook Fraudsters

The officials of the National Service Scheme(NSS) have sent a warning to subscribers to be cautious in dealing with unknown persons on social media especially Facebook with the intention of helping them with their postings.

According to the management, some unscrupulous persons have impersonated themselves a agents and staff from the scheme claiming to be able to help service persons  to be posted to their personal choice of work place.

However, the scheme says, there is nothing like that and so the public should devoid from such people as they are fraudsters.

The management says no monies should be paid to any external person with the intention of helping a subscriber to change his or her place of posting by the service scheme.

It also advised such fraudsters to desist from the act of unlawfully collecting monies from innocent victims with the intentions of helping them.

It says anyone caught in such act would be made to face the full penalty of the law.
