National Chief Imam Donates GHS 50,000 Towards National Cathedral

The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu has today contributed a substantial amount of GHS50,000 towards the construction of the much-criticized National Cathedral.

The building of the National Cathedral has attracted widespread criticism with many critics describing it as a misplaced priority.

However, the Finance Minister last month encouraged Ghanaians to make personal contributions towards the building of the Cathedral.

Today, this portal has learned that the head of the Muslim fraternity in Ghana, the National Chief Imam has donated an amount of GHS50,000 to help in the building of the Cathedral.
