National Cathedral Project: Ablakwa Behaving Like The Devil’s Agent Or Sanballat- Chairman Wontumi

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako has condemned the Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Okudzeto Ablakwa for being an agent being used by the devil to speak against the construction of the National Cathedral.

Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi stated that Okudzeto Ablakwa’s decision to go after Reverend Kusi Boateng is testament that he is against things that glorify God just as Sanballat got upset when he heard that Nehemiah was building the wall of Jerusalem.

Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has presented what he describes as “unimpeachable” and “incontrovertible” evidence against the Secretary to the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral of Ghana, Reverend Victor Kusi Boateng.

According to the lawmaker, Rev Kusi Boateng is the third “mystery” director of JNS Talent Cantre Limited, a firm he had earlier accused of receiving GH¢2.6 million illegal cash transfer from the Secretariat.

But reacting to the allegation, Chairman Wontumi shielded Reverend Victor Kusi Boateng from the corruption tag Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa was trying to pin on him. He rather described Okudzeto Ablakwa as a corrupt politician.

“Did you even do your national service before becoming a deputy minister of State? How long did you work before acquiring filling stations?” Chairman Wontumi questioned Ablakwa.
