Nana Agradaa Facing Four-Year Jail Term After Losing Court Case

Self-acclaimed evangelist, Patience Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa has been fined GHC46,000 by an Accra High Court for operating television stations without license and displaying what the court deemed ‘charlatanic material’.

In a report by Ghanaweb, Nana Agradaa pleaded guilty to charges levelled against her and was fined GHC36,000 for operating a television station without legal permit of which she’ll face a three year jail term if she fails to pay.

She was further fined GHC10,000 for the display of charlatanic materials on live television. A default in payment will see her spend another year in prison which will run concurrently.
