Nana Addo Has Done A Lot For Asanteman – NPP

The Ashanti Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) has vehemently shot down the current propaganda that President Akufo-Addo has ignored development in the region.

The ruling party says such propaganda is orchestrated by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) aimed at making the good governance of Nana Addo unpopular.

Speaking at a press conference in Kumasi on Thursday, the Regional Communications Director of the NPP, Dennis Kwakwa said the cheap propaganda of the NDC and cohorts will not wash.

Backed with a power point presentation, he revealed that Nana Addo has kept to his promise of quality education.

Dennis Kwakwa said 1.5 billion dollars was spent in Nana Addo’s first term of office to promote educational infrastructure in the Ashanti Region.

“So far, 3, 744 unit classrooms are visible to enhance education in the Ashanti Region,” he noted.

“I am therefore challenging the NDC to provide evidence to what they did for Asanteman.All they do is cheap propaganda,” Kwakwa fumed.

Dennis Kwakwa described Mahama’s activities in the region as wicked and unimaginably inhuman.

“Go to the airport and see what Nana Addo has done there and compare it to Mahama’s kitchen airport.Mahama hates Asanteman,” he stressed.

Turning to roads, Dennis Kwakwa said the 4 tier Suame Interchange is clear testament that Nana Addo cares for Asanteman.

He noted that Asanteman is enjoying good roads and this is being done with fly overs where appropriate.

“So many roads in Kumasi are asphalted and some are also under construction and the data is here to prove.What did Mahama’s NDC do for Asanteman,” he quizzed.

Dennis Kwakwa stressed Nana Addo’s commitment to build sports is clear with the construction of astro turfs and other sports infrastructure.

“Nana Addo’s Planting for Food & Jobs has come to stay with the building of warehouses for buffer stock,” he noted.

Dennis Kwakwa reiterated that Nana Addo is resolute to the development of the nation despite international economic turmoil and cheap propaganda from the NDC.
