Nana Addo Given New Title As He Begins Tour Of Upper East Region

“President Promise-Do” is the new title conferred upon President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo.

He was given this name by the Paramount Chief of the Talensi Traditional Area, Tong-Rana Kubilsong Nalebegtang.

This came to the fore when the President paid a courtesy call on the Tong Rana at his palace in Tongo, as he began his 2-day working visit of the Upper East Region on Wednesday, 7th October 2020.

The Tong Rana explained that this title is in appreciation for the fulfilment of the Presidents’ numerous promises to the people of Ghana upon assumption of office.

He cited Free SHS, 1-Village-1-Dam, 1 District 1 Factory, road construction, among others as some of the numerous projects initiated by the Akuffo-Addo led government.

The Tong Rana bestowed his blessings upon President Akuffo-Addo and wished him well in the upcoming December polls.
