The Nation Builders Corps is asking the government to provide them with a certificate that will show that they participated in the NABCo program and also improve their CV.

The Finance minister during his Mid-Year Budget review indicated that the program will end by 1st September 2022 after 4 years of its initiation.

According to the minister, trainees will not be left stranded after the program ends, it is indicated that the trainees will be enrolled in the YouStart program.

This program is to provide financial assistance to young graduates. The call for a certificate however angered some trainees as they demand the payment of their arrears instead of the certificate.

Trainees are owed 10 months of arrears after the program was extended in 2021 October. Trainees have made their intentions known as they plan to picket at the jubilee park
