Member of Parliament for Asante Akim North, Lawyer Andy Appiah Kubi has described the motion for a Vote of Censure against the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta as technically incompetent.

Lawyer Andy Appiah-Kubi is the spokesperson for the 80 New Patriotic Party (NPP) Members of Parliament who want the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta to be fired.

Speaking with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV Morning Show, he said the motion lacks a constitutional approach.

Reacting to the statement issued by the National Executives of the party asking the members of the majority caucus to abstain from the Vote of Censure, he said they had already taken a decision not to partake in the vote.

He said the Minority cannot dictate for them.

Lawyer Andy Appiah Kubi bemoaned that the National Executives should have consulted the Majority caucus before issuing the statement.
