Money Swine: Amewu Reportedly Paid Shatta Wale GHS 2 Million To Perform At Hohoe

Rumours have emerged that the newly-elected NPP MP for Hohoe in the Volta Region, John Peter Amewu paid a whopping amount of GHS 2 Million to Ghanaian music heavyweight, Shatta Wale to perform at his Thank You concert in Hohoe.

The event, organized by the honorable MP elect was scheduled to see other artists performing even though Shatta Wale’s performance was the headline.

The event was highly successful with the dancehall sensation even managing to get the usually calm MP elect to boogie with some slay queens.

However, rumours have since emerged that the dancehall artist was paid a whopping amount of GHS 2 Million just to perform at the event.

Many have criticized Mr Amewu for the obvious extravagance considering the widespread poverty in the constituency, suggesting that he could have put the amount to a more profitable use.
