Mintah Akandoh’s Wife Reportedly Sues Ursula Owusu For ‘Emotional Trauma’
Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has been sued in court by wife of MP for Juaboso, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh after the former sat on Mintah’s laps in Parliament ahead of the Swearing-in of Speaker for the 8th Parliament.
During the fracass in Parliament on January 7, 2021 after the NDC had taken over the majority seats, Mrs Ursula found a seat on the laps of Mintah Akandoh after she claimed Akandoh was on her seat.
Although many had claimed he enjoyed the act, Akandoh explained that he had no option than to leave her in order not to create chaos. He had hinted that his wife had expressed unhappiness over the incident and would file a court suit against Ursula.
A report by MyNewsgh has claimed that the court suit has been filed against Ursula with the wife of Akandoh seeking compensation for emotional damages.
