Mettle Nunoo Abandoned His Job At The Strong Room To Go And Drink Tea At Jean Mensa’s Office – EC Lawyer Blows Alarm

In what caused a massive breakout of laughter at the Chief Justice’s Courtroom of the Supreme Court, counsel for the EC in the 2020 election petition, Justin Amenuvor put it to the 3rd witness of the petitioner, Mr Mettle Nunoo that he abandoned his work at the strong room.

According to counsel for the EC, Mr Mettle Nunoo at a point, abandoned his core duty at the strong room for hours, in order to enjoy a cup of tea and biscuits at the office of the EC Chairperson, Madam Jean Mensa.

Mettle Nunoo, however, disagreed insisting that he was offered tea but not biscuits.

Mr Mettle Nunoo explained that he had gone to see the EC Chair in order to raise some important objections about the process.
