Ace investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni has hinted of an upcoming project under the ‘Fourth Estate’ dubbed #TheSwearingChallenge to shame government appointees who lie under oath.
Several ministers and government appointees have been caught lying minutes after swearing an oath to be honest under interrogation.
This has caught the eyes of most Ghanaians who have been wondering how effective the oath under the Bible or Quran is.
In a Facebook post Manasseh hinted, “What do you swear by? #TheSwearingChallengeComing Soon! Powered by The Fourth Estate.”
Hopefully this challenge will make an impact and make appointees take their oath seriously.
