Mahama’s Promise To Legalise Okada Doesn’t Bother Us – Kwaku Asiamah

Minister of Transport, Kwaku Asiamah has insisted the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is not perturbed by the pledge of former president John Dramani Mahama to make the operations of Okada legal if elected President again on December 7.

According to him, the law concerning the ban on okada has never been enforced since its inception because there is a need for broader consultation with the people involved.

To him, it is not necessary to respond to claims by the NDC flagbeaer on his plans for okada riders because the NPP are focused on governing the country and they’ll do just that.
