Mahama’s Comment About Judiciary As A ‘Unanimous FC’ Is Very Harsh & Serious Indictment – Obiri Boahen

A former Deputy General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen, says it’s worrisome for John Mahama to use unprintable words for the Judicial Service.

Addressing participants at the NDC’s Lawyers’ Conference on Sunday, Mahama noted that, a trusted Judiciary is a critical ingredient in safeguarding the country’s democracy.

This he said, however, appears to be missing, as many citizens openly ridicule the Judiciary as the ‘Unanimous FC’; a coined term which connotes the collectiveness of thoughts in recent rulings of the apex Court.

In reaction to this, Lawyer Obiri Boahen speaking on Wontumi Tv Morning Show on Monday said that the comments are very harsh and serious indictment.

He charged John Mahama to take a sober reflection on his comments.

He stressed that John Mahama will one day be referred and that he must be cautious about his public utterances.
