Mahama Will Be Sworn In As President-Elect – NDC Organizer Insists

The Ashanti Regional Organizer of the NDC, Isham Alhassan has insisted that the Party’s flagbearer for the 2020 elections, John Dramani Mahama will be sworn in as President-elect on January 7th des[pite the Electoral Commission’s verdict.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was declared to have been re-elected by Ghanaians on 9th December 2020 by the EC Chairperson, Madam Jean Mensah.

Since the declaration, the NDC has rejected the results of the elections as flawed, organizing nationwide demonstrations since then.

Speaking to Kumasi-based Pure FM, Isham Alhassan urged NDC supporters to have faith in the leadership of the NDC, insisting that John Mahama will be sworn in as President.
