Mahama Suspends Campaign Following News Of Rawlings’ Death

The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has halted all 2020 campaigns of the party.

This is in the wake of the sudden demise of the party’s founder, former President Jerry John Rawlings.

“I have announced the suspension of my tour of the Ashanti Region and all NDC campaigns across the country, following news of the passing of our Founder and former Prmesident of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings.
May his soul Rest In Peace,” Mr. Mahama announced on twitter.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that Ex. President Rawlings may have died of the deadly coronavirus. May he rest in peace.
