Mahama Is Frustrated Over Same Unfair System He Created While President – Jacob Osei Yeboah
Jacob Osei Yeboah, running mate to the Independent Presidential Candidate in the 2020 elections has noted that former president John Dramani Mahama is frustrated by the same injustice system he created when he was President of Ghana.
According to him, Mahama superintended over a system that was unfair and now he is crying over that same system after he left office.
“Even now Mahama himself is frustrated. The former president, the system that he superintended, the unfairness in our system, now he is fighting for justice.
“Fighting for justice is about fighting for your dignity and he himself a former president is not happy and is frustrated,” Jacob Osei Yeboah said when he accompanied his presidential candidate, Alfred Kwame Asiedu Walker, to pay a courtesy call on the leadership of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA).

NDC Shouldn’t Dictate Our Flagbearer For Us – NPP MP
The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) cannot be allowed to dictate to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) regarding who becomes their next flagbearer, legislator for the Achiase Constituency, Kofi Ahenkorah Marfo, has said.
According to him, the NPP will be distracted if they pay attention to the NDC and that will only be an added advantage to them in the 2024 polls.
“Dr. Bawumia should not be made Presidential candidate because of where he comes from but for his competency. I know he’ll deliver if given the nod. He’ll perform more than what ex-President Mahama and the NDC have done and will ever do”, he said on the Happy Morning Show on ETV.
“The NDC must not be listened to. We must not panic and give Bawumia the work because of what the NDC is saying. We will not allow the NDC dictate our flagbearer to us. Listening to them will be to our disadvantage”, he reiterated.

I Made Poloo Plead Guilty Because She Had A Bad Case – Lawyer
Lawyer Andrew Vortia, Counsel for jailed socialite, Akuapem Poloo has disclosed that he run out of options and had no choice but to compel his client plead guilty to charges levelled against her.
According to him, looking at the evidence presented against Mrs Poloo, it was in her best interest to plead guilty to reduce her sentencing.
“When we were at the case management case stage, we evaluated all the evidence against her (pictorial) in the witness statement and we realized that we don’t have a good case. So when the case goes through full trial let’s say two or three months and she’s found culpable the sentence will be harsher than being a first-time offender pleading guilty,” he told the media after the judgement.
Akuapem Poloo was on Wednesday convicted on her own plea by the Circuit Court in Accra after pleading guilty to three charges, thus the publication of obscene materials, engaging in domestic violence, namely conduct that in any way undermines another person’s privacy or integrity and engaging in domestic violence that in any way detracts or is likely to detract from another person’s dignity and worth as a human being.
She was sentenced to 90 days on each count but the court said, the sentence must run concurrently, meaning she will only serve a 90-day jail term which is three months.
