Minority Leader in Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu has stated the former president John Dramani Mahama is committed to leading the fight against the unending waves of corruption and scandals in the country.
Speaking at the launch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) manifesto yesterday, he noted that corruption will be a high risk activity under the next John Mahama led NDC administration.
“His Excellency John Mahama commits to make corruption once again a high-risk activity,” Haruna Iddrisu said.
He added, “John Dramani Mahama will find answers to all the unanswered questions on corruption, whether it is BOST, National Youth Authority or Kroll and Associates. It is only in Ghana that excavators can go missing, found and nothing happens. That will not happen under a John Mahama Presidency.”
He further noted that the NDC will not have an elephant sized government but will rather cut down on the number of ministers.
