‘Mad’ Mahama’s Addiction To ‘Ntampi’ And Tramol Influencing Him To Make Wild Allegations – Wontumi Goes Haywire

The Ashanti regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has advised former President John Mahama to stop using ‘ntampi’ and tramol to help him get out of the state of being paranoid.

Mr. Antwi-Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi told Wontumionline in an interview that the use of ‘ntampi’ and tramol has been bad to the health of Mr. Mahama forcing him to make unsubstantiated claims that soldiers forced the Electoral Commission to declare the 2020 election in the NPP’s favor.

Chairman Wontumi maintained that such comments could only come out from someone who feeds on hard drugs and saddened its usage is beginning to have negative impact on the mental health of Ghana’s former President.

“John Mahama is getting mad. You can clearly tell that he is mad. How can he claim that soldiers forced the EC to declare the 2020 elections in NPP’s favor. In 2016, with his best friend Charlotte Osei as EC Chair, the NPP beat him with over 1 million votes. In 2020, we beat him again with half of what we got in 2016 and he wants to attribute that to the presence of soldiers? The man is mad”, Chairman Wontumi said.

Speaking on Global FM as part of his ‘thank you’ tour, Mr Mahama had said the EC were forced to declare result of the 2020 polls due to the presence of military personnel.

The former president said, although the 2020 elections were manipulated in the NPP’s favour, there is hope for the NDC to win the 2024 elections.
