Leaked: Mahama’s Ministerial Appointments If He Wins 2020 Election
The 2020 presidential elections is a few days away but in the mind of NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, he is President already.
This high sense of optimism has already triggered the former President to start forming the core of his government.
In a leaked letter dated November 26, 2020 to top hierarchy of the NDC, Mr. Mahama has presented some names as probable ministers in the next NDC government.
Cassiel Ato Forson, Hannah Bissue, Kevin Taylor, Joyce Bawa Mugtari, Sadiq Abdulai Abu , Rashid Pelpou among others have all been tipped as potential ministers should the NDC wrestle back power from the NPP in the December 7 polls.

Election Petition: Supreme Court Adjourns Hearing To January 26
The Supreme Court has adjourned its hearing of the 2020 Election Petition to Tuesday January 26, 2021.
The petitioner in the 2020 Presidential Election Petition, John Dramani Mahama, has sought a review of a ruling on some 12 questions he wanted the 1st Respondent, Electoral Commission to answer after the court had earlier dismissed similar applicaion.
Lawyer for the petitioner on Wednesday January 20 told the court at the beginning of hearing that he has come to seek a review of the ruling on their application for interrogatories the previous day.
The court ruled that “the crucial issue of relevancy has not been established in this Application” emphasizing the various amendments that have been made to the Court Procedures and Rules, the latest being C.I 99.
“We are strictly bound by C.I 99 and therefore will not apply Order 22 of C.I 47 OF 2004 in this circumstance.
“We accordingly refuse to grant the application and same is accordingly dismissed”, the court ruled.

NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama is asking for a rerun of the 2020 elections after he refused to concede defeat, citing errors on the part of the Electoral Comission.

Under-Fire Akufo-Addo Reduces Ministries To 29
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has trimmed down the number of ministries in his second administration from 36 to 29.
Consequently, the number of ministers, deputy ministers and regional ministers to be appointed will not exceed 85.
The list of qualified Ghanaians who will serve as ministers and deputy ministers in President Akufo-Addo’s second term will be released this week as soon as Parliament constitutes its Appointments Committee.
The Director of Communications at the Presidency, Mr Eugene Arhin, told Graphic Online in Accra Tuesday [Jan 19, 2021] that the list, which would be printed on green sheets in the form of a statement, would contain a mixture of both old and new ministers, but the number would certainly not go beyond 85, as against the 126 in the first term.
