Kate Gyamfua Is Not The Owner Of The Burned Excavators, She Is Only An Employee – Defence Minister Clarifies

Minister of Defence, Dominic Nitiwul has rejected rumours that excavators belonging to the National Women Organizer of the NPP, Madam Kate Gyamfua have been destroyed by the military task force supervising Operation Halt.

It will be recalled that news broke over the weekend that some 9 excavators belonging to Xtra Gold Mining Company were destroyed by the military task force against galamsey in the Eastern Region.

Madam Gyamfua was rumoured to be the owner of Xtra Gold Company.

However, Mr Nitiwul, at a press conference on Wednesday, May 19th said he has been informed that the company does not belong to the NPP women organizer.

According to him, Madam Gyamfua is only an employee of the company.
