Kanye West In Ghana For Black Star Line Festival – REPORT

Reports suggest, Kanye Omari West aka Ye, an American rapper, has arrived in Ghana.

This was made known by media personality, blogger, and vlogger, Ebenezer Nana Yaw Donkoh, also known as NY DJ in showbiz circles.

According to NY, Kanye West is in Ghana as a surprise guest performer at the Black Star Line Festival, which is set to take place on January 6, 2023, at the Black Star Square.

“I’m gathering info that Kanye West will be the surprise act at the Black Star Line Festival in Ghana this weekend,” he wrote on his social media pages.

The post, particularly the one seen on New York’s Facebook wall, drew a lot of attention.

The majority of those who have commented on it agree that having the multiple award-winning musician perform in Ghana will be fantastic, while others are skeptical.

For those who were skeptical, the YFM host returned with new information indicating that Kanye West may already be in Ghana.

In a reply to a comment under the post he made, NY disclosed that the ‘Gold Digger’ hitmaker is already in Ghana because some members of his team were seen partying with American stand-up comedian Dave Chappelle on Wednesday, January 4, 2022, at a party held at the Play Ghana Club.

If this information turns out to be concrete, it will certainly mean that Ghana has been the preferred Christmas destination for many stars during the 2022 yuletide

The Black Star Line Festival is curated by Chance The Rapper and Vic Mensa and will see performances from Chance himself, Erykah Badu, T Pain, Jeremih, Sarkodie, Tobe Nwigwe, Asakaa Boys, M.anifest and fellow Chicago-born hip-hop artist Vic Mensa.
