Just Like Covid-19, I’m Not Panicked At The Handful of Secessionists, We’ll Deal With It – Akufo-Addo Assures

President Akufo-Addo has assured that the Western Togoland secessionists in the Volta region are going to be dealt with and there’s no need to panic.

Speaking on Hello FM, the President noted that he’s not moved nor panicked by the secessionist attacks and assured that just like Covid-19, they’ll be dealt with.

Describing the secessionists as just a handful, he stated that he trusts the security services to deal with them because there are systems put in place to deal with such menace.

On the recent attack on the State Transport Company in HO, the President said, “there is always the element of surprise…for all terrorist groups there is an element of surprise, it’s there at the beginning, but after a time when the system is working, you are no longer going to be surprised. So, this they’ve done once or twice, third, fourth, fifth time, is not going to be so easy.”
