Just In: Judiciary Initiates Investigations Into Muntaka’s Bribery Allegations

Ghana’s Judiciary has initiated investigations into allegations made by MP for Asawase, Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka when he appeared on Joy News’ ‘The Probe’.

Chief Whip of the NDC caucus in Parliament, Muntaka alleged that a Supreme Court Judge Led the attempt by the NPP to bribe some members of the NDC parliamentary caucus to vote for the NPP’S choice for Speaker of Parliament.

According to Mr Muntaka, the said Judge promised the unnamed NDC MP that she will be given a substantial amount of money as well as other incentives.

This portal understands that the Judiciary has initiated steps to investigate the allegation in order to redeem it’s image.
