Judge Explains Why He Ordered That Funny Face Be Sent To Psychiatric Hospital; Says He Was Giving Irrelevant Responses In Court
The Ofaankor Circuit Court has explained its decision to direct the police to send comedian, Funny Face to the Accra Psychiatric Hospital for at least the next two weeks.
According to a Kasapafmonline report, the Presiding Judge, His Lordship Ebenezer Osei Darko in his assessment concluded that answers Funny Face gave in response to questions indicated that he does not have a sound mind.
Funny Face was arraigned before court on Monday, February 15, 2021 after he was arrested for the second time by the Millennium Police and kept in the police cells.
He had accused the police of brutalisation in the course of his arrest; a reason which has seen him rain insults on the police in a video.
The Police has however, denied the accusations indicating they applied minimum force in his arrest.
