Journalists And Media Houses Have Joined Hands With The ‘Thieves’ Stealing From The State – Manasseh Azure Laments

Renowned Investigative Journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni has lamented the apparent actions of some journalists and media houses in siding with corrupt persons who are stealing from the state.

The anti-corruption campaigner, while delivering a speech at the Baah-Wiredu memorial lecture on Thursday October 29, said “the corruption that is sinking our society has not spared the media”.

According to him, any journalist who genuinely intends to fight corruption will soon painfully realize that it is his own colleague journalists who are actively impeding the fight.

“In some cases, individual journalists who cannot resist the temptation look the other way while the rot continues”. He said.
