Crystal Palace forward, Jordan Ayew has tested positive for coronavirus.

The 30-year-old last featured for the Eagles in their drawn game against champions Manchester City- a game he came on as a substitute for Michael Olise on the 65th minute

However, the reports coming in this morning indicate, the ex- Marseille forward has tested positive for coronavirus which makes him a huge doubt for Ghana’s World Cup qualifiers playoffs against Nigeria next week.

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is expected to announce his squad for the crunchy clash probably on Monday, March 21, 2022 but is most likely he will exclude Jordan Ayew and could be replaced by Spezia Calcio’s Emmanuel Gyasi.

This also means Jordan Ayew will miss Crystal Palace FA quarterfinal game against Everton this afternoon at Selhurst Park.
