John Mahama Is A Disgrace; The NDC Must Move On Without Him – NDC’S Dela Coffie Writes
Dela Coffie writes;
Folks, it is sad and funny, very sad, that once more, for the umpteenth time, the old truth is confirmed: Mahama is surely an embarrassment to any Ghanaian with a measurable IQ.
Indeed, the man has gone beyond being funny or laughable; he’s gone beyond being impossible – he’s proving beyond all doubt now that he is – and always has been – a national and international embarassment.
Why am I on this tangent? It is simply as a result of Mahama’s post election antics. The antics are getting pronounced.
Mahama and his frontmen are yelling, alleging and touting voter fraud. Strangely, they aren’t alleging to the courts that there was voter fraud, not that there was irregularities, or even an illegal ballot cast. Mahama continue to be all talk and NO PROOF and yet his gullible believers continue to slurp up his unfounded conspiracy theory. These guys are simply engaging in media trial. And in the process creating uneccessary tension resulting from illegal public manifestations with its attendant skirmishes, violence and chaos all over the place.
We don’t want untrammeled Democracy. Neither is Ghana interested in mob rule. Which is why Mahama ought to square the circle now or forever shut it.
The question is, where the hell is the proof of the voter fraud? Why is it so difficult to present the ironclad ‘evidence’ before a judge? Well, If it ain’t in court, it ain’t proof, and people need to be told in plain language that touting these unfounded claims of election fraud without willingness to follow the constitutional procedures is as horrible as Adolf Hitler’s propaganda stunts.
Again, is it the case that Mahama is equally outraged at the constituencies he won? Why isn’t he disputing those results as well? Isn’t it strange how the fraud and irregularities happened only in the areas that the NDC lost?
I don’t understand the logic. It is either he claims that the entire election is fraught with irregularities including his votes or it was not.
You cannot gleefully propagate the NDC gains in the parliamentary contest and at the same time call the entire process fraudulent. That’s absolute disrespect to the will of the people, due process and an attack on our constitution.
In any event, how may straws can Mahama clutch on at this juncture? Watching him flail, flounder, and fail to make his case is entertaining. He hopes to create a religion of conspiracy to undermine our democracy & ideas that challenge his politics. This is lower than low. And to support these conspiracy theories is to support impunity and belligerence.
It’s much more like some people need to have their asses whooped, maybe that will knock some senses
into their deranged heads that making baseless claims and flouting the public order act does not, and cannot alter the declaration made by the Electoral Commission.
Then again, the claim that Mahama is fighting for the 6million who voted for him is a load of tosh. What about the over 6million who voted for the other guy or the floating voters who now wish they hadn’t voted Mahama?
This whole act has always been about himself while pretending to be about others. His simpering base of supporters would follow him over a cliff while he wears a parachute to safety.
The people in the base are too gullible to realize they’re the cannon fodder. He’s whipping them for an agenda other than voter fraud.
Let’s be clear here, it always was, it is and it will always be about Mahama and his 2024 comeback.
The good party folks in the NDC need to stand up and be counted – The fat lady has long sung. It’s over, it’s done. Time for Mahama to pack it in and get ready for retirement. Better yet, the NDC need to move on with the election 2020 corpse dressing and put the party back on track with fresh leadership.
Yes, we can.

Just In: Mahama Files New Motion At The Supreme Court Asking EC Chair To Admit To Errors In Her Declaration
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer in the 2020 election, John Mahama, has filed a motion at the Supreme Court asking that EC Chairperson admits she made errors during her declaration of election results.
The facts relate to Jean Mensa’s the declaration of results on December 9.
Mr Mahama wants the EC Chairperson to admit that she did declare the results on December 9 which was broadcast live on radio, television and online platforms.
The former President who lost the December 7, polls is at the apex court seeking to set the results aside.
The court is due to hear the matter on Tuesday, January 19, 2020.
Mr Mahama wants the Apex court to direct the EC Chairperson to admit to certain facts.
He also wants the EC Chairperson Jean Mensa to admit that she has since not made any other declaration of results.
He further wants the EC Chairperson to admit that the figures and percentages announced by her during this declaration if collated will come to 100.3% instead of 100%.
He finally wants the EC Chairperson to admit that the subsequent correction of results in statements issued by the EC is different from what candidates obtained as captured in the summary of results sheets published by the EC.

I Wanted To Force A Rerun – Carlos Brags As He Celebrates His Snatching Of Ballot Papers With His Constituents
Carlos Ahenkorah, the honourable MP for Tema West who came under intense public scrutiny for his ballot paper snatching incident on the floor of parliament during the inauguration of the 8th parliament, has justified it by claiming he wanted to cause a rerun.
He explained his absurd action in the video saying: “We were confident that we had already won because we knew we had 138 votes in the House. I was praying that our votes would be counted first and then when they did, we noticed that we only got 136 votes.
“I realized immediately that this was not good for us because it became evident that the NDC knew what they were about – they had connived with some people from our side to betray us.”

We’ll Counter Any Attempt By The NDC To Frustrate Akufo-Addo – Sam Pyne Warns
Ashanti Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sam Pyne has indicated that the party will resist every attempt by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC to frustrate the second term of President Akufo-Addo.
Sam Pyne, who, like several others suspect that the NDC could use their advantage of having Alban Bagbin as Speaker of Parliament to frustrate Akufo-Addo’s second term in office has warned the NPP will be having none of that.
Meanwhile Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin has assured that he’ll be neutral in the house, adding that he’s no speaker for either NPP or NDC.
“Hon Members, I intend to live by the Oath I swore on the occasion of my election to this office, to respect, obey and abide by the will of the House. I am fully committed to being fair and impartial. But I am also fully committed to being firm. Members must also in reciprocity, respect and abide by my rulings and instructions. When in disagreement, the Standing Orders of the House, has the answer. I will apply the authority of the House as symbolized by the Mace, to protect and defend the prerogatives, privileges and immunities of Parliament, members and staff as provided under the laws of the country”, Bagbin said.
