Chris Hughton, the man favorite to land the job as Coach of the Black Stars is set to meet the family of Brighton and Hove Albion star, Tariq Lamptey to convince the player to pledge allegiance to the Ghana National Team.

This comes after similar discussions with the father of Chelsea winger, Callum Hudson Odoi, which is said to have ended successfully, with the player committing his allegiance to the Black Stars, although an official announcement is yet to be made.

Hughton’s next task, this portal has learned is to convince 22-year old Tariq Kwame Nii-Lante Lamptey to play for the Black Stars, though born in the UK, the player is also eligible to play for the England National Team.

Though the GFA is said to be more inclined towards former Ghana International, and current assitant coach for German giants, Borussia Dortmund, Otoo Addo, it is most likely that Mr. Hughton will be announced as the next Black Stars Coach, as he appears to have the full backing of Government.
