Musician and radio presenter, Blakk Rasta has descended on Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu labeling him as a ‘Special Pretender’.
Speaking on his Taxi Driver show on Zylofon FM, Blakk Rasta noted that he could not comprehend why Martin Amidu has failed to do his job in fighting corruption, rather, prides himself in past achievements.
He expressed how shameful he feels whenever he hears Amidu speaks because he expects him to keep quiet.
“This is rubbish; this is your ‘special pretender’. Listen, the man says he used to campaign and fight against corruption better when he was out of the office…so, what has made you not to fight corruption again? Is it because you accepted the office?” Blakk Rasta quizzed.

NDC Had No Reason To Meet Over Ablakwa’s Resignation Because He Only Addressed It To Speaker – Asiedu Nketia
General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has indicated that the party had no need to meet over the resignation of Okudzeto Ablakwa from the Appointments Committee because the letter was not addressed to them.
According to him, Mr Ablakwa addressed his letter to the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, however, the matter has been resolved.
“We didn’t feel the need to hold [a] meeting over that resignation at all. First of all, the letter was addressed to the Speaker of Parliament, not to the party or the leadership of the party in parliament. We haven’t had any meeting about it,” he said on Joy News.
“My personal view is that I don’t understand the letter sufficiently to be able to express an opinion. Because the letter simply said he is resigning based on principle and also on personal reasons and that he will not be participating in the vetting of deputy ministers. It is so open-ended. When you say principle, what principle are we talking about,” he said.

You’ve Been Defending Akufo-Addo’s Nepotistic Gov’t Yet You Accuse Bagbin? Asiedu Nketia Fires Kyei-Mensah
General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has admonished Majority leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu over his accusation that Speaker, Alban Bagbin is turning Parliament into an NDC enclave.
According to Mr Nketia, did Kyei-Mensah expect Bagbin to appoint his political opponents as advisors.
He noted that Kyei-Mensah since President Akufo-Addo’s ascension to power has been defending his nepotistic appointments yet he has issues with Bagbin appointing political allies to advise him.
He continued: “I am wondering whether Mr Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu was expecting Bagbin to appoint his opponents to advise him…people choose their advisors…I am worried about people who cannot use parity of reasoning. When something suits them, they argue in a certain way…that is not the way to build credibility.
“What was Parliament before Bagbin came? If you are talking about turning something into another state, you should be interested in knowing the original state of that institution. Before Bagbin came, what was Parliament? Was it an NPP enclave?
He continued: “I am wondering whether Mr Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu was expecting Bagbin to appoint his opponents to advise him…people choose their advisors…I am worried about people who cannot use parity of reasoning. When something suits them, they argue in a certain way…that is not the way to build credibility.
“I didn’t expect Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu who was all over the place when we were accusing the President of nepotism in his appointments and so on, Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu was all over the place saying that, did we expect the President to appoint his enemies as Ministers, so what has changed?”
