I’ll Rather Go Out And See Things for Myself Than Read Reports – Akufo-Addo

President Akufo-Addo says he prefers to go on tour to ascertain the implementation of his government’s policies than to sit in the office and read reports.

Speaking in an address to Chiefs and people of Yepei – Kusawgu in his working tour to the Upper West and Savanna Regions, the President said information received via various reports cannot be compared to what he sees himself when he goes on tour.

“Every year, it is my practice to visit each of the 16 regions of our country so that I can see for myself the performance of government’s projects and initiatives of the various regions which I visit”.

“I always say that receiving reports and seeing things with your own eyes is not the same so I prefer to come out to see for myself how things are going”, the President added.

“And so doing, I get the opportunity to listen to the chiefs and people of the area so I can adjust government’s programs and initiative to take care of these concerns”, he noted.
