If Your Case Is Bad, Even The Most Skillful General Will Be Exposed – Oppong Nkrumah Taunts NDC
A spokesperson for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo‘s legal team in the ongoing election petition hearing, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has said Monday’s court proceeding exposed the inconsistencies in the petition by the National Democratic Congress’ 2020 presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, and his witness Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, to set aside results of the election.
According to him, lead counsel for the President in the election petition, Mr Akoto Ampaw today exposed the inaccuracies and inconsistencies in the petition filed by Mr Mahama to annul results of the 2020 presidential elections.
In a media interview after the cross-examination in court on Monday, February 1, 2021, Mr Oppong Nkrumah stressed that the witness for the petitioner could not substantiate any of the evidence presented to the court by the petitioner as prove that the 2020 presidential election was flawed.
He noted that “we are of the view that today has been a big day in court and the big word today is ‘exposed’. You would notice that counsel on our side spent a lot of time exposing the inconsistencies and sometimes the outright falsehoods that have been put out by the petitioner (Mr. Mahama) and the witness who was in the witness box today.
“So when you juxtapose the earlier claims that we won and now what they are saying in the witness box to they now saying they don’t know who won, you will realise there’s a discrepancy… One of the first things that the counsel on our side sort to do today was to expose the inconsistencies and sometimes outright falsehood by the petitioner and the witness,” he added.

We’ll Sack Any MP Who Supports Homosexuality From Parliament – Sam George Vows
Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram Constituency Samuel Nartey George has stressed that no legislator in Ghana’s Parliament can dare raise a voice in support of homosexuality in the country.
According to him any move by any MP to support it will lead to the sack.
“I dare any member of Parliament to stand up and say he will vote against our motion,” he said on TV3’s Midday Live on Sunday, March 7.
For him, “any MP who supports homosexuality has no business being a member of Parliament”.

There Was Understanding Between NDC And Our Parliamentary Leadership To Reject Hawa Koomson – Sammy Gyamfi
National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has indicated that the party and its leadership in Parliament had an understanding to reject Fisheries Minister designate, Mavis Hawa Koomosn in the interest of the nation.
According to him, Mrs Koomson’s performance at her vetting was obvious she is unfit for the job and therefore had to be rejected.
“There was an understanding between our party leadership and our people in Parliament in the interest of the nation, it was not in the interest of NDC. Because for a woman who carries a gun and fires it at a polling station, she doesn’t care whether people are killed and then when she mounts a platform, she incites people by telling them how-to beat-up others well. Truly she brought her thugs to beat up our Secretary,” he told Power FM on March 5.
He continued: “Today, I don’t want people to feel sad but a woman like that couldn’t even define fish farming. She is not fit to be minister. For a person like that it is not in the interest of the nation to approve her,” he added.

Clergy Declares War On Akufo-Addo’s Cathedral; Vows Not To Worship In A Building Designed By LGBTQ+ Advocate
Founder and Presiding Bishop of Gospel Light International Church, Rt. Rev. Matthew Addae – Mensah has declared that no Christian will be worshipping in President Akufo-Addo’s National Cathedral which is being built by an LGBTQ advocate.
This comes after reports that Sir David Adjaye, the architect of the Cathedral backed the legalisation and recognition of LGBTQ+ groups in the country.
Reacting to this, Rev Addae according to mynewsgh, indicated that Mr Adjaye had shown disrespect to the Christian values and the country’s culture there he’s not fit to build the cathedral.
‘I believe, for Sir David Adjaye throwing his support for the LGBTQ+ Community in Ghana means he has no respect for Christians and the cultural values of Ghana’,” he was quoted by mynewsgh.
There are equally better architectures in Ghana who can do the project. He should resign. David Adjaye has shown that he has no respect for the Christian community in Ghana. He has clearly demonstrated that there is a difference between knowledge and wisdom.”
“Since he cherishes and values such abominable foreign practices then I have the right to say that he is not fit to be granted the honour by the President of the land to handle a holy edifice such as the National Cathedral.”
