‘If You Support Gov’t To Pass This e-levy, Forget About Your Presidential Ambition’ – Kevin Taylor Warns “Backstabber” Haruna Iddrisu

US-based Ghanaian Journalist, Kevin Taylor has warned the minority leader, Haruna Iddrisu not to assist the government in passing the controversial e-transactions levy.

According to the CEO of Loud silence Media, any attempt by Mr. Iddrisu to support the e-levy will effectively end his presidential aspirations.

Haruna Iddrisu has come under intense criticism after deviating from the Minority’s decision to reject government’s attempt to impose a 1.75% tax on electronic transactions.

In a Facebook post, Kevin Taylor wrote,

“Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, you are in Parliament to represent the views and aspirations of the people of Tamale South and not your personal views.
You are even the leader of the NDC in Parliament and must do as the majority of those who put you in the position to act on their behalf wishes.

You are becoming a sellouts and this behavior of yours always putting personal gains above that of Party interest will come back to bite you in the face soon.
You are always eroding the gains of the NDC for your selfish Interest and must be called out.

The people of Ghana says THEY DO NOT WANT TO PAY ANY E-LEVY and that’s period.
Your constituency is largely dominated by farmers and young people who are unemployed and struggling in life.

These young people travel distances to south to hustle by some even sleeping outside so they can take care of home.
You are supporting a Corrupt Wasteful Government which are pigheaded on taxing these already struggling constituents of yours and Ghanaians at large on their mobile money transaction.

You have lived almost all your life enjoying from the taxpayer and this is the time you stand with them and not use your position as minority leader to negotiate for deals.
Haruna, remember the situation which led you to become an MP.
From 2005 till date you have enjoyed life and has been taken care of by your constituents whom many struggle to even eat once a day.

Haruna Iddrisu, look I Kevin Taylor do not want to become President like you and hence have nothing to lose if I go all out to expose your corrupt conducts.
If you are bent on destroying your own future ambitions, some of us will use our platform and our last drop of blood to help you destroy yourself perpetually.

Mind you, the NDC you kept stabbing at the back will first have to vote for you to become their leader before you dream of becoming the national President.
The grassroots of the NDC says they are not ready to pay any E-Levy and that’s final.

The NDC cannot always be the sacrificial lamb on correcting the stupidity of the NPP.
Do you Haruna and your leadership in parliament believe if it was the NPP in opposition with these numbers you have in parliament, you have the liberty to do the foolish things they are doing now?

These things you are doing will be played back to you.
I’m not threatening you sir, but I promise you if you and the minority you lead make that mistake of helping this stupid Akufo Addo Government to pass the e-levy, I’m not God but count your Presidential ambitions DEAD from that day.

If Akufo Addo and Bawumia has mismanaged the economy and waste money renting luxury jets, let them go to the IMF.

DO NOT BE PART IN PASSING THE E-LEVY else You wouldn’t Have it Easy with some of Us”.
