IEA Polls: 57% Of Ghanaians Want Akufo-Addo To Continue As President

A poll administered by the Institute of Economic Affairs on their Twitter handle has returned a whopping 57% in favor of President Akufo-Addo.

The Twitter-based poll by the think-tank gauged how Ghanaians were satisfied with the performance of President Akufo-Addo over the past three-and-a-half years.

IEA Ghana on the 16th of October 2020, administered a poll on its Twitter Handle @IEAGhana and asked as follows, “how satisfied are you with the performance of the current government over the past 4 years”. Respondents had four options to choose from, namely; “Very satisfied, Satisfied, Dissatisfied, and Very dissatisfied”.

Overall, 5,625 people voted according to the final results of the poll. Fifty-seven per cent (57%) of the respondents who voted chose “Very Satisfied”. Six per cent (6%) settled on “Satisfied”, seven per cent (7%) opted for “Dissatisfied” and twenty-nine per cent (29%) chose “Very dissatisfied”.
