I Will Not Come Carrying My Own Chair – Mahama Teases Akufo-Addo

Flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama has directed a subtle missive at his main opponent, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, teasing the latter on his famous chair.

President Akufo-Addo’s famous chair has come under much public scrutiny in recent times after Ghanaians took notice of the fact that it was carried along in his convoy on all his official trips.

NDC MP for Bolga Central, Isaac Adongo had alleged in recent times that the President’s preferred chair always travelled in a dedicated V8 at the full expense of the taxpayer.

A video which broke the internet later appeared to corroborate the Bolga Central legislator’s claims.

However, former President John Mahama in an interview on Sunyani-based Moonlite FM directed a subtle missive at his political foe, when he lightly suggested that he will not come along with his own chair when he comes on a thank you tour after winning the 2020 elections.
