I Want To Buy NDC With Cash – Wontumi Declares

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Boasiako also known as Chairman Wontumi has disclosed his intentions to buy the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) with cash.

Speaking on the Wontumi Morning show on Friday, he claimed that the NDC would disintegrate and lose value after the 2020 elections therefore the need to buy it.

“After the 2020 general elections, the NDC would lose value because they would not be in power again . The party would disintegrate and I would want to buy NDC with cash,” Chairman Wontumi declared.

He noted that the December polls will be a thanksgiving service for the NPP since Ghanaians will be showing appreciation for what Akufo Addo has done for them.

Wontumi has been on the neck of the NDC since the build up to the 2020 elections. He recently attacked the NDC Vice Presidential candidate, Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang after her nomination. According to him, the woman’s appearance and demeanor depicted her as a disappointment.

This comment did not go down well with many who have since called on him to apologise, however, he has refused to do that.

A Political Analyst, Jonathan Asante Okyere recently slammed him (Wontumi) for his comments against Naana Agyemang and stressed he had a problem with his mental psyche.

Don’t you have a mother or a wife?,” he quizzed. He added, “Wontumi has a problem with his psyche.”
