I Intentionally Set Accra Aca On Fire Three Times To Escape Boarding House – Boy Confesses
A 15-year old student of the Accra Academy Senior High School has confessed to setting the dormitories ablaze three separate times in order to get out of boarding house.
This came after the school, after successive fire outbreaks set a committee to investigate the cause and found out that the boy had been behind the fires that had ravaged dormitories and destroyed properties.
When apprehended, the boy (name withheld) confessed that he has no desire to stay in the school, adding that he was forced to enroll in Accra Academy.
According to him, he carries out his plans while other students are studying at prep, noting that he bought petrol from a nearby filling station and sprinkled them on bottles and light a match to catch fire.
He has since been handed over to the police.
