Controversial MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has revealed that he did not disclose his COVID-19 status when he immediately tested positive because he did not want Obinim and other fake pastors to claim the bragging rights that they are responsible for his plight.

The MP, who has been in the news for several months because of his crusade against so-called fake pastors, shockingly announced a few days ago that he has recovered from the deadly virus.

The lawmaker’s announcement came as a shock because his disappearance from public scrutiny coincided with the ongoing registration exercise, leading many to believe that perhaps he was visiting his constituency. He however, confirmed a few days ago that he had tested positive and had recovered.

In an interview on Asempa Fm which was still ongoing at the time of filing this report, the controversial lawmaker revealed that he intentionally hid the fact that he had tested positive from the public because he did not want fake pastors to say they caused his predicament.
