I Fear For My Life In Parliament – Afenyo Markin Laments After Revealing Plot By NDC MPs To Beat Joe Wise

Deputy Majority leader in Parliament, Alexander Afenyo Markin has lamented that he fears for his life whenever he is in Parliament.

The lawmaker, speaking on Joy FM’s Newsfile program last Saturday, revealed an alleged plot by minority MPs to assault 1st deputy speaker, Joe Osei Owusu.

According to Mr. Afenyo Markin, the. NDC, after Mr. Osei Owusu had presided over Parliament to rescind the house’s rejection of the 2022 budget, got physical and attempted to beat the Bekwai MP.

The deputy Majority leader specifically accused the Ashaiman MP of being the NDC’s hatchet man for violence in the chamber.
