I Am Not Above The Law – Hopeson Adorye Breaks Silence Over His Alleged Arrest

Over the past few days, it has been heavily speculated that NPP’s big wig, Hopeson Adorye has been allegedly arrested.

The report was initially carried by Ghanacelebrities who claimed Mr Hopeson Adorye was arrested on eve of Captain Smart’s arrest over alleged extortion.

Hopeson’s wife, Gospel singer, Empress Gifty also went online to rant and rave for over a day now, claiming someone is testing her and she is ready for the battle because God is behind her.

She initially released a post threatening ‘vawulence’.

Finally, Mr Hopeson has come out to speak following the brouhaha around his alleged arrest.

In a self-recorded video sighted by Gossips24.com, he stated that he has not been arrested.

According to him, on the day Captain Smart was arrested, he was at Net2 TV on a panel discussion when he received a lot of calls from people close to him asking if it is true he has been arrested too.

He accused a blogger at Ghanacelebrities.com of spreading false information about him and he has threatened to report any website that published such news to the Police Cyber-crime Office to close them down.

Meanwhile, in the video, Mr Hopeson Adorye was seen at the studio of Wontumi FM.

His wife, Empress Gifty, Chairman Wontumi and two veteran Gospel musicians Ampong and Nickolas Amani Achaempong were also spotted in the video.
