Hawa Koomson In Trouble Again After She’s Accused of Ordering Assault On NDC Constituency Secretary

Mavis Hawa Koomson, Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East seem to have landed in another assault saga after the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Awutu Senya East Constituency of the Central Region accused her of assault.

According to the Ghana Guardian, the MP ordered her men to assault Tauriq Amadu, the NDCs constituency secretary after she accused him of “disturbing her social media.”

In an attempt to explain himself to Hawa Koomson, she allegedly ordered her boys to beat him up.

“She told the boys that they shouldn’t even engage me. They should beat me up. So upon her orders, the boys descended on me. They were about five,” Tauriq Amadu explained.

They’ve called on the Police to launch investigations into the incident and bring the culprits to face the law.
