Have You Seen Any NDC Official Contract Covid-19? It’s Because We Have A Clean Heart – Kweku Boahen

Deputy National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kweku Boahen has claimed that most ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) officials are contracting the Coronavirus because they are dishonest.

Speaking on UTV’s Adekye Nsroma, Kweku Boahen said no NDC member has been reported to have contracted the virus because ‘they have a clean heart.’

“Anybody with an evil intention will be infected with Covid…Have you seen any NDC official getting infected? It’s because we have a clean heart; I dare anyone to mention names of NDC officials who have been infected,” he said.

Most government officials have contracted the virus since the lockdown was lifted. This include minister of education Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Senior Minister Osafo Maafo, Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyemang-Manu; Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, Papa Owusu Ankomah and several others.
