Government Is Not There To Please The People – Pastor Mensa Otabil

Renowned preacher, and founder of the International Central Gospel Church, Dr. Mensa Otabil has said that the essence of government is not to please the people.

According to the respected cleric, the essence of government is to put in place structures that will check the people on how to live.

Speaking on discipline, Pastor Otabil said there is no disciplined person anywhere in the world, however, it is the system that causes people to be disciplined.

Dr. Otabil explained that as long as systems are put in place, people will naturally conform.
