Ghanaians Will Not Forgive NPP If We Lose 2024 Election – NPP’s Deputy Communications Director

Yaw Preko, the governing New Patriotic Party’s (NPPDeputy )’s National Communications Director, believes Ghanaians will not be pleased with the leadership if they fail to retain power in 2024.

Ghanaians, he said, can’t afford to go through the sufferings they went through under former President John Mahama’s administration.

The suspension of teachers’ and nurses’ trainee allowances, Dumsor, and other economic afflictions, he noted, are still fresh in Ghanaians’ minds.

The NPP is keen to build on the good foundation it has established since reclaiming power, Yaw Preko said Mark Abisah on Suncity Radio in Sunyani ahead of the recently conducted Bono Regional Delegates Conference power in 2017.

To prove why he believes the NPP is the best party for Ghana, he cited daring achievements by the Akuffo Addo-Bawumia-led government, including as the banking sector clean-up, the Free Senior High School Policy, One Constituency One Ambulance, and the Digitization of the Economy.

Despite the multiple advances, he was quick to warn that the party will not be complacent.

“Even though our achievements so far give us confidence that we can end Ghana’s eight-year electoral mandate, we will not be complacent in 2024; we will go all out,” the deputy national communication director stated.

When asked who he would vote for as President in 2024, Yaw Preko stated the delegates would make the decision at the appropriate time.

He stated that President Akufo-Addo is determined to transfer over power to another NPP administration, as seen by his unflinching commitment to working tirelessly to justify the good people of Ghana’s faith in the Party.
