Ghanaian Terrorist Bombs French Military Facility In Mali; Sends Pre-recorded Farewell Video To Ghanaians

A Ghanaian suicide bomber has detonated a car bomb near a French Military installation in the Kaigourou neighbourhood of Gossi in Mali, MyNewsGh has reported.

Abu Dujana, the said Ghanaian suicide bomber died leaving at least twelve persons, including 8 french soldiers with fatal injuries.

In a pre-recorded video he made before the incident, Abu disclosed that he is a Ghanaian, who hails from Karaga in the Northern Region.

Abu Dujana was said to be working under the terrorist group; Jama’at Nasr al-Islam wal Muslimin (JNIM).

In September 2018, the U.S. State Department designated Jama’at Nasr al-Islam wal Muslimin (JNIM) as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) under section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act. JNIM, al-Qaeda’s affiliate in Mali and West Africa, has been responsible for numerous attacks against both Westerners and regional security forces since its formation in March 2017.

In his pre-recorded video before the suicide mission, Abu Dujana bade farewell to his parents and family and called on his fellow Ghanaian youth to take up arms against the country.
