Ghana Will Soon Become The Most Digitized Economy In Africa – Bawumia

The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says Ghana is on course to becoming the most digitized economy in Africa.

He said Ghana under President Akuffo-Addo is formalizing all sectors of the economy to bring developments to the nation.

The Vice President mentioned mobile money interoperability, Ghana Card, NHIS among other things as some of the other digital innovations initiated by the ruling NPP administration.

Speaking on Wontumi FM and TV in Kumasi as part of his tour of the Ashanti Region, Dr. Bawumia stated that by the first quarter of 2021, about 15million people will be captured under the tax net through the government’s digitization agenda.

He noted that this will go a long way to shape the President’s “Ghana Beyound Aid” campaign.
