Ghana Police Now Akufo-Addo’s Secret Weapon – NPP’s Wereko-Brobby Laments

Dr Charles Wereko-Brobby, a founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has complained about how the Police has been used to continually suppress freedoms under the administration of President Akufo-Addo.

In a post on Facebook, he bemoaned how the president who touts himself as human rights defender has arrested the freedoms of Ghanaians using the police.

He was reacting to the ongoing fix the country campaign on social media.

“The #GhPolice Is Fast Becoming #Akufo_Addo’s_GESTAPO. OUR FREEDOMS HAVE BEEN ARRESTED BY THE ‘HUMAN_RIGHTS_DEFENDER’…,” Mr Brobby wrote on Facebook.
