Four More Secessionists Nabbed In Volta Region

The police have arrested four more suspects in connection with the the disturbances which occurred in parts of the Volta Region last Friday.

The four, who are believed to be part of the Homeland Sucessionists Group, were apprehended in an ongoing operation in the area after the Aveyime and Mepe Police stations were attacked and officers on duty tortured by the group.

The group is seeking for the creation of a new country called Western Togoland.

The police are assuring that they will do all in their power to bring the perpetrators to book.
