Former President John Mahama Reacts To His Son, Shafik’s Private Wedding

His Excellency the former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has reacted to the private wedding of his eldest son, Shafik, and his long-time Algerian girlfriend, Asma.

News emerged yesterday that the eldest son of the former President had tied the knot with his girlfriend in a private ceremony in Dubai, with photos of the event circulating later in the day.

It appears the former President and his family could not make it to the event because of the flight restrictions instituted to check the spread of the coronavirus.

However, the proud dad has taken to social media to congratulate the couple on their union. Posting via Instagram, the former President shared a photo of the fresh couple with the caption, “Congrats Shafik and Asma.
God richly bless your union”.
