Family Of Late President Rawlings Finally Speak On His Death

Family of Jerry John Rawlings have officially announced the demise of the former president of the Republic.

A statement signed by the first daughter of the former President, Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings read: “it is with deep sadness that the family of His Excellency Jerry John Rawlings (Rtd), informs the general public that the former President of the Republic passed away on Thursday morning after a short illness.

The family further requested for “privacy at this difficult moment” and announced that “details of funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.

The vociferous former president few weeks ago buried his mother and was yet to get out of his mourning moments when he has unfortunately been sadly taken away by death.

Rawlings left behind his wife, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings and four children.
